ColtsMUN XIV Approaches

The Secretariat for the Christian Brothers Academy Model United Nations has begun preparations for our next conference: ColtsMUN XIV. The conference will take place on Friday, December 4, 2026, and bring over 300 middle school students from all across New Jersey to debate, discuss, collaborate, and problem-solve within the confines of simulation.

As our leadership team works hard over the coming months to plan ColtsMUN XIV, we wanted to introduce the faces leading the charge. Secretaries-General Patrick Yurcisin ‘27 and Aneel Pitchumoni ‘28 will be leading the conference this year. Additionally, Directors-General Pavlo Lastivka ‘28 and Ajay Pitchumoni ‘28 and Under-Secretary-General Tyler Torres ‘29 are some other pivotal figures in ensuring that ColtsMUN XIV improves significantly this year.

Historical committees, including Northern Ireland: The Troubles and The Russian Revolution, will allow students to dive deep into key historical events. Traditional committees, including World Bank: Progress through Partnership, UNESCO: Governance of Artificial Intelligence in Global Society, HLPF: Global Pharmaceutical Price Shifts, EU: Migration and Social Cohesion, and UNHRC: Journalist Protections, will encompass a variety of increasingly prominent global concerns Some new additions for ColtsMUN this year include our NJ senate committee, NJSS: Oil and Nuclear Power, and our sports committee, NFL: Rules and Safety. Like in years past, delegates wil also have the opportunityl test their fiction-based international relations skills in the world of the UNSC: Summit on the Sokovia Accords in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

ColtsMUN has grown to astounding heights over the past thirteen conferences, to the point that we now host students from all over New Jersey. This year, the Secretariat promises to bring the same energy and commitment to diplomacy, education, and inspiration. A wide array of new committees will be presented at this year’s conference, and we cannot wait to welcome you all. As the Secretariat continues to work tirelessly to prepare for the conference, we are confident that ColtsMUN XIV will be the largest and most successful conference to date.

The Secretariat plans to release background guides within this week. As expected, additional information will follow in the coming months. Please keep an eye on our website and our social media accounts for announcements about registration, committees, background guides, as well as additional updates about the conference. The entire Secretariat for ColtsMUN XIV is very excited for the upcoming conference. We are looking forward to welcoming hundreds of young delegates to Christian Brothers Academy and making ColtsMUN XIV a successful conference.
